The Breakaway Retreat

The Breakaway Women’s Retreat is thrilled to announce its 5th annual event, set to take place on April 17 and 18, 2026.

This celebration of Women ministering to women promises to be a rejuvenating and refreshing experience for the soul, drawing women from all walks of life to explore this year’s empowering theme: “Identity.”

In today’s fast-paced world, finding time for reflection and spiritual growth can be challenging. The Breakaway Women’s Retreat offers a rare opportunity for women to step away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a supportive and faith-driven environment to worship and praise God. Under the unifying theme of “Identity,” we aim to bridge gaps and foster connections among women from diverse backgrounds and denominations.

We are excited to announce our keynote speaker for the Breakaway Women’s Retreat 2026 5th year celebration: Evelyn Klingler, U.S. Specialized Missionary for the AG World Prayer Center and Assistant Director. After serving over 20 years as missionaries in Latin America, Sam and Evelyn planted and pastored in Reading, PA for several years. She was asked to serve with A/G Women at the national office as the Leadership and Missions Specialist, then became the Prayer and Evangelism Pastor of Life 360 Church in Springfield, MO until Dec. 2024. Now she is a U.S. Specialized Missionary for the AG World Prayer Center and serves as Asst. Director. She and her husband Sam have been married 36 years. Her passions are God’s presence, His Word, great books, and souls reached for Christ, Evelyn promises to inspire and uplift all attendees.

The retreat offers three sessions designed to inspire truth and promote spiritual purpose development. Tailored to address various aspects of a woman’s spiritual journey, our sessions will provide insight and wisdom. Topics will range from enhancing personal faith practices to understanding one’s unique purpose in God’s plan.

Experience powerful worship sessions that aim to lift spirits and unify hearts. These sessions will be a cornerstone of the retreat, offering moments of deep connection with God and fellow attendees. Meet and bond with like-minded women who share your faith and values, in the Love of Jesus Christ.
